Registration Open for 3 Day Portland Engagement Summit ‘PEP Talk’

The Office of Community & Civic Life, Oregon’s Kitchen Table, and the Center for Public Service are hosting PEP Talk, a 3-day event bringing community members, national and local engagement experts, and City of Portland staff together to learn about and discuss different engagement models and concepts that could work for Portland.

Portland’s engagement model is 50 years old and needs to be updated with today’s technology and engagement concepts through a transparent, public process. Together, participants will present leading ideas, discuss emerging trends, and make recommendations on the City’s engagement framework.

Food and supervised play for children provided. Interpretation in Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese available via the livestream for this event. American Sign Language interpreters available at each location.
